Reviews about Walmart Supercenter
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆July 12, 2020, by Anon YmousI talked my mother (75 years old this year) into going to Walmart to grocery shop because of their cheaper prices. I'm driving her car planning to drop her off at the grocery entrance. We are driving really slow as we are almost to the entrance, when a brownish/greyish/greenish?? (can't remember) SUV started pulling out of the SIDEWALK! WHY was anybody parked on the SIDEWALK?! He almost hit my mother's side where she was sitting! I stopped and layed down on the horn! The male driver finally turned his head to look at us. So, that was bad enough. After seeing that he was stopped and not going to crash into my mother, I proceeded to drive the grocery entrance, then I stopped the car to let my mother out (she is elderly and has breathing issues). Well, the driver of the SUV now, who was behind me, did a "revenge" honk on the way past me as he went around me, and his wife (I assume) started angrily running her mouth at me acting crazy, waving her hands, acting like she wanted to get out and fight. So, I don't flip birds at people, but I matched her crazy angry motions. Meanwhile, my mother is sitting there until it is safe to get out. Immediately after these fine upstanding people had done all the blowing and huffing they wanted to , the security person in her little white car pulls up and says something that I cannot hear to me, but her face is not a friendly expression. I motioned to her, don't talk to me go after THEM! Thinking, because she was the same ethnicity as the fine upstanding people that were doing the revenge honk and scaring my mother, that she was perhaps coming after me in vindication of her people. Finally, I tell my mother to just go ahead and get out and I would find a park. So, after I parked, I had a long way to walk across the parking lot. And the security car driver had her window now cracked and she was being held up by someone backing up....so, I was passing her anyway and thought I would ask what she was trying to say to me earlier. I said, "excuse me mam, but may I inquire as to what you were trying to say to me earlier?" She said that she was trying to tell me that I couldn't PARK there". I told her I was trying to drop off my mother who has breathing problems into the store. Then she said, "Then you were doing THIS to me (and she motioned my crazy motions I had made towards her as I was saying "DO not come at me, go after THEM!" Then she proceeded to tell me that IIIII had pulled out in front of them. CAN U BELIEVE IT! When did I pull out in front of them? Going by them while they are parked on the sidewalk and them nearly crashing into my mother? I think any cop in his right mind would say that I had the right away and they shouldn't be parking on a sidewalk anyway. So, that tells me she DID see it! Then she goes away in her car now that she has further upset me by accusing me of what was DONE to me! So, I go inside and ask the greeter in the yellow to please call me a manager over. I told the girl what had happened, and she called a manager. When the manager got there, I as I began telling him what happened, that security car driver was now all-of-a-sudden standing RIGHT THERE! Now, how did she know that I was telling on her? Was SHE FOLLOWING ME?? That is HARASSMENT! IS it not?? So, I told the guy exactly as everything happened, up to her telling me that I pulled out in front of the other vehicle. "LIE!" My mother proclaims! So, the manager pulls her to the side and says to her, "Let's have a talk". So, not wanting to keep my mother waiting any further, I proceed with starting our shopping for her groceries. She bought clothes and groceries there, all because I encouraged her to come to Walmart. I'll never do that again, because, just as my mother and I got the cart unloaded and put away, and got into the car, and we were about to leave, the security car driver rolls up in her security car behind us and stops, gets out a little blue folder type notebook, and started looking in the direction of my mother's tag and writing something down in her book. MORE HARASSMENT!
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆July 27, 2019, by Amos AmosThis Walmart is always clean, well stocked, has a very good Gluten Free selection through the store (Just be aware that some of the Gluten Free signs are not on Gluten Free products, this can be a severe medical problem for those who have Celiac Disease and are not aware of what ingredients to search for in the listing; Organic does not mean Gluten Free!) The meat counter could use more options...if you need something for everyday use they have it covered, no special cuts or selections. Produce is typically well stocked and clean with several options for fruit and vegetables in season. More cashiers are needed every time I have been in this store. It's typical to wait 30 minutes minimum to get to a register during a non-holiday mid week day.
